1. Scope and who this policy applies to

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information submitted to MELNIK Commercial Brokers through melnikbrokers.ae, our contact forms, commercial enquiries and Meta lead forms, including Facebook and Instagram Instant Forms (together, the “Forms”).

MELNIK Commercial Brokers is a Dubai-based commercial broker, Licence No. 1656588. For questions about this policy or the handling of an enquiry, contact us at [email protected] or +971 58 508 4288.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on the Form and the information you choose to provide, this may include your name, company name, job title, business email address, telephone number or WhatsApp contact, enquiry content, commercial requirements and any information voluntarily included in your message.

We may also process limited technical and security information, such as IP address, device and browser information, referral source, source page, date and time of an enquiry, consent record and telephone-verification status. Where a Meta lead form is used, we may receive the lead details provided in that form and information needed to identify the form or campaign source.

Corporate KYC/KYB, bank or identity documents are requested only where appropriate for a specific commercial or compliance process and should be supplied only through an agreed secure channel.

3. How we use information

We use information to receive and respond to an enquiry, including to contact you about a proposed gold transaction or another stated commercial request, assess the stated commercial purpose, prepare commercial communications and coordinate an appropriate broker-led introduction where suitable.

We may also use information for KYC/KYB and AML screening, fraud and abuse prevention, website and form security, audit records, protection of our legal rights and compliance with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information and do not use it for unrelated advertising.

4. Meta, Facebook and Instagram lead forms

If you submit a Facebook or Instagram Instant Form, Meta provides the information entered in that form to us so that we can handle your commercial enquiry. We use it for the purposes described in this policy and in any notice or consent shown with the relevant form.

This policy applies to MELNIK Commercial Brokers’ handling of the information after we receive it. Meta’s own processing of information is governed by Meta’s privacy policy and the settings of your Meta account.

5. When information may be shared

Access is limited to authorised personnel and service providers acting under our instructions and subject to appropriate confidentiality and security duties. We do not disclose lead information to unrelated third parties.

Information may be shared with verified counterparties in an agreed transaction process, banks, professional advisers, technology or communication providers, or competent authorities where this is necessary for the stated purpose, required by law, needed for compliance review or otherwise supported by an appropriate legal basis.

Where information is transferred internationally, this is limited to what is necessary for the relevant purpose and is handled with appropriate safeguards.

6. Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, for contractual or commercial recordkeeping, to protect our rights or to meet applicable retention duties.

We use role-based access, protected storage, logging of relevant actions and other reasonable operational safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security, so please do not send passwords, payment-card data, access keys or unnecessary confidential information through ordinary website or lead forms.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

Subject to applicable law, you may ask about access to your information, correction of inaccurate information, restriction of processing or deletion where appropriate. You may also withdraw a consent that you have given for a specific communication or processing activity, subject to any legal or legitimate basis for continuing to retain or use information.
